Limit hold'em: 4/8, 10/20 with a half-kill, 20/40
No-limit hold'em: 1/3, 2/5, 5/10 and up. No-limit hold'em games have no maximum buy-in, even at the 1/3 game, so you routinely see people buy in 400BB.
Pot-limit Omaha: 2/5 blinds
Omaha/8: 10/20 half kill and 20/40 half kill.
Mixed game: 4/8, 8/16, 15/30, 30/60 - hold'em, omaha/8, razz, 2-7 TDL, A-5 TDL, Chinese, Stud/8 and others.
Rake is 10% max $4.
Tournaments[]
- Tue, Wed, Thu at noon: NLHE $300+30 ($300 goes to the prize pool, $30 is the house juice).
- Fri at noon: NLHE $500+40.
3% of the prize pool is withheld for dealer tips.
Satellites begin 8am on the day of the event where two winners receive entries to the tournament.
Players start with T3000 and each level is 45 minutes. This is the 2nd best structure of any daily tournament in Vegas (the Mirage 1pm tournament has a similar blind structure with 60 minute rounds).
According to room regulars, there are usually 75-100 players.
General[]
Completely separate room set far apart from the rest of the casino - not even all that close to the rest of the casino (it can even be tricky to find if you're just in the casino itself). Absolutely gorgeous and elegant, the Wynn's Poker Room has pulled out all the stops for poker players and is aiming squarely at the high roller.
Cocktail service is excellent, free drinks include things like juliuses, and the waitresses are the hottest in vegas by far.
Line passes to the buffet or coffee shop can be had fairly easily. Just approach the floor. You will get 1.25 hours away from the table before being picked up.
Holders of a player's club card can swipe in and out to earn comps for play.
Parking: If you park in the multilevel garage reachable from Las Vegas Blvd and just drive up to the top level and park, when you walk into the casino over the garage-to-casino bridge, you enter right next to the poker room - it's a great location.
