Why is there a need for multiple skins or poker rooms on a network? Well, the answer is that they were acquired at different times and executed different marketing strategies. The following poker rooms are currently operated on the Winning Poker Network: AmericasCardroom.eu, BlackChipPoker.eu, TruePoker.eu, YaPoker.com, and PokerKing.com.[1]

Each skin is a visually unique version of the same online poker room. The skins are all essentially the same, offering the same games and features with a few minor differences. The player pool is combined, creating a more robust base of players. Americas Cardroom is the flagship and the largest room on the WPN.

History[]

The WPN can be traced back to 2001, when True Poker was a standalone 3-D poker site. True Poker soon began operating as a part of the Yatahay Network, hosting games for many partners on the network. BetCRIS, a well-recognized bookmaker and operator on the network, took over the WPN in 2011. The company decided to utilize an improved poker client developed by IGSoft. Around this time, the network bailed out players from the defunct Doyle's Room, transferring them over to the new Americas Cardroom on the WPN. While True Poker used to be the leader of the WPN, Americas Cardroom soon began to hold that distinction itself.[2]

Software[]

The skins on the Winning Poker Network incorporate a plethora of user-friendly features. Some of these features include bomb-pot tables, auto top-ups, and customizable avatars and bet sliders.[3] Player staking, hand histories and basic statistic tracking are also available within the various WPN poker clients. WPN skins are also compatible with most popular HUDs, like Poker Tracker 4.

Poker Games[]

The Winning Poker Network offers a wide variety of poker games. Games are available across a multitude of stakes. No-Limit Hold'em, Fixed Limit Hold'em, Omaha Hi/Lo, Omaha, and Stud are all spread across the skins on the WPN.

Cash Games[]

Cash Games on the WPN are offered across a diverse range of game types and stakes. The standard table sizes are on offer across all of the WPN skins. High-rollers should have no trouble finding action; cash game blinds as high as $200/$400 are commonly running. Micro stakes players will also find a bevy of games to choose from. Blinds are available as low as $0.01/$0.02 and the games are quite liquid across stakes.

The WPN also runs numerous satellites that reward prospective winners with seats in live, in-person events. The WPN is also recognized for offering unique series events such as the Venom Poker Series.[4] These events will consist of multiple tournaments offered over a set period of time. Often, the series will culminate with the largest buy-in event featuring the highest guaranteed prize pool.

All of the standard table sizes are available including 6-max, 9-max, and heads up(2-max). The WPN also hosts 8-max and 10-max sit and go tables. Multi-table sit and goes are also offered across the WPN.

Jackpot Poker[]

Jackpot Poker is a 3-handed sit and go that utilizes a random multiplier value to determine the prize pool. The multiplier will be assigned prior to the game starting. Jackpot Poker awards multipliers as high as 2500x, the most common and minimum multiplier is 2x.

Promotions[]

The WPN is home to numerous network-owned brands. These include AmericasCardroom.eu, BlackChipPoker.eu, TruePoker.eu, and YaPoker.com. The promotions available on these skins are often quite similar or identical in most cases. Welcome bonuses are generally 100% up to a maximum of $2,000.[5] Bonuses are released in increments, as is standard industry practice. Players have a choice of signing up for a rakeback account or a VIP Elite Benefits program. 27% flat rakeback is available at all of the aforementioned poker rooms. All WPN skins use the weighted contributed rake model to calculate rakeback.
