Super/System is Doyle Brunson's classic 1979 survey on several variants of poker. The work compiles contributions from various writers: Mike Caro, David Sklansky, Chip Reese, Joey Hawthorne, and Bobby Baldwin. Although the original edition appears dated today -- five-card draw and seven-card stud hi-lo without a low qualifier have sections -- Brunson's own no-limit hold 'em section has aged well, and the author admits to largely recycling that section in 2005's Super System II.
