Sacramento

Sacramento is the capital city of California, and is the center of the third-largest poker area in the state. The only areas with more poker rooms are the Los Angeles area and the Bay Area (San Francisco and environs).

There are three card rooms within the city limits proper, one within blocks of the State Capitol building. There are another dozen within 50 miles of the city, including three Indian casinos offering full complements of slot machines, table games, and poker.
