Los Angeles and its environs is the epicenter for poker activity in California. There are eight poker-spreading casinos in the LA area, not counting the additional five or six within an hour's drive. These eight span the gamut of California card clubs, ranging from small intimate two or three table rooms to the largest poker room in the world, the Commerce Casino.
Virtually all of the Los Angeles card rooms have a Player's Card system for earning comp dollars or other significant benefits while you play. Most offer many forms and levels of poker. All have no smoking policies due to California law. All have bad beat jackpots.
