Golden Eagle Casino.png

The Golden Eagle Casino is a casino in northwest Kansas owned by the Kickapoo tribe. Because of the proximity of Harrah's relative to the Golden Eagle, the Golden Eagle is less popular among Topeka residents.

On Thursdays the Golden Eagle offers a Hold'em tournament. The stakes are $5 buyin, $5 rebuys, and a $10 add-on. All monies are returned to the players. This tournament generates some side action. On Thursdays before the tournament, the room usually has at least one 4-8 Hold'em, 1-5 spread-limit 7-stud, and sometimes a 5-10 Omaha/8 game. After the tournament, there is usually a 4-8 Pineapple game.

The staff is usually very pleasant, although the dealers are sometimes inexperienced.
