Brandon Adams

Brandon Adams was born December 12, 1978 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Adams is generally considered to be a cash game player, but he gained notoriety in the poker world for a couple of high finishes in tournaments, including a second place finish to Men Nguyen in the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship in 2010.  He has a total of 3 World Series of Poker final tables to his credit, while only cashing a total of 9 times. He has just under $1,000,000 in life time tournament earnings as of March 2014. Adams was also a regular on “Poker After Dark” during the later seasons as he was a Red Pro for Full Tilt Poker, he also appeared on a season of High Stakes Poker.

Brandon Adams also has made a name for himself outside of poker through his education and teaching.  Adams attended Harvard University and has given lectures on Game Theory there in past years, as well as lectures on economic theory.  He also has published numerous books on both economics and poker.  Adam’s book titles are: "Setting Sun: The End of US Economic Dominance,” a poker novel "Broke: A Poker Novel." He also co-authored a book on behavioral finance, "The Story of Behavioral Finance", with Brian Finn.  He also started a website that is meant to connect experts with people who want to have conversations with them, charging an hourly rate.  He managed to get some traction with this by having Nobel Prize winner Gary Becker participate by offering sessions for one-on-one conversations with students for $5,000 per hour.  Brandon Adams is also known for his prop betting and sports gambling prowess, and comments on each using his Twitter.[1]
